The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity. (Tirmidhi)

Build a Masjid Project

A masjid is at the centre of any local Muslim community which not only provides a place for prayer but also is a hub for education and other services. It helps people learn more about Islam and plays key role in their moral and spiritual development. However, many of our brothers and sisters across the developing world are not fortunate enough to have easy access to a local Masjid.

The Messenger ﷺ of Allah (SWT) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise.’ (Bukhari)

Just as the Prophet (ﷺ) helped to build the first mosque in Medina, help us build a mosque in this world and build your palace in Jannah this Ramadan insha Allah.
By building a masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a house of Allah, but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come insha Allah.

Clean Water Project

Clean water is the most important basic human need, access to which enables mankind to lead a healthy, clean life and avoid illness. This is something that we all take for granted. However, in Asia and Africa a lot of places do not have immediate or quick access to water, often miles of travelling is needed – to fetch water people including women and children need to travel on average 3.7 miles. In Bangladesh alone, around four million people live in slums and do not have access to the basic needs that we use on a daily basis such as clean, safe water.

The Messenger ﷺ of Allah (SWT) was asked, 'Which charity is best?' He replied, '[Providing] water'.

The following hadith teaches us that a simple act of kindness such as giving water can be our salvation on the Day of Judgment.
The Messenger ﷺ of Allah (SWT) said, 'Allah had once forgiven a prostitute. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Seeing that thirst had nearly killed him, she took off her shoe, tied it to her scarf, and drew up some water. Allah forgave her for that.'
He ﷺ also said, ‘Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, will say on the Day of Resurrection, “…O son of Adam, I asked you for something to drink but you did not give it to me.” He will say, “O Lord, how can I give you something to drink when you are the Lord of the worlds?” He will then say, “My Servant so-and-so asked you to give him something to drink and you did not give it to him. Had you given it to him, you would have surely found that with me.”'
